Horse coaching with my horse

Morrin is my horse that I work with in horse coaching.

Morrin radiates a gentle, calm strength. She is a wise companion, inviting you to be fully present in the moment. Her energy feels like a warm, stable embrace that supports you in finding your own balance and confidence. She carries a deep connection with nature and a loving presence that has a healing effect, even without words.

Morrin is a loyal friend who, with her gentle gaze, brings peace and trust. She invites you to slow down, feel, and experience how strength and gentleness converge within you.

Working with Morrin, you create space to release old blockages, allowing movement to emerge within you. She helps you feel your own strength, while simultaneously offering gentleness and security.

She's a horse who works from the heart. There's enormous strength within her, a strength she harnesses during coaching sessions. She's my greatest teacher. She has an unerring sense of where someone is feeling tension or a blockage, and she'll gently explain it to you. She's the coach, I'm her assistant; I'll translate her words for you.

"In Morrin's silence, I find the strength to be who I truly am."

Horse coaching

Equine coaching involves using horses as a tool for people. It draws on the horse's nature, namely its role as a flight animal and its ability to live in a herd.

As herd animals, they depend on their herdmates. Who is the most experienced horse and will lead the way when they need to flee (lead mare)? And who is the strongest and can best defend themselves (stallion)?

Regardless of the hierarchy in a herd, every member of the herd must be healthy. If a horse has colic (abdominal cramps), it is unable to escape. The other members of the herd will then try to help the sick animal. They do this by offering extra protection and taking on tension. They then release this tension by yawning.

The influence of the family you grew up in is undeniably strong. Back then, you had to "survive," and you developed a way to keep going under the circumstances. This survival mechanism then takes root throughout your being. Once you're an adult, this mechanism is often still unconsciously active like old software, causing you to encounter all sorts of challenges.

Even though you might think you had a happy childhood, every child naturally develops a survival mechanism. For example, if you had a very sheltered upbringing, your survival mechanism will likely yearn for freedom. If you had an unsafe upbringing, you can imagine what your survival mechanism did for you. The things you carry with you from your past vary from person to person.

With horses, stored tensions in your body are directly reflected. It's common to think they understand their own issue, but a deeper root cause surfaces. This provides insight into the situation, giving you the space and freedom to view and deal with it differently. This immediately leads to greater peace and relaxation.

During horse coaching, I work with both Morrin and you, tuning in to both and listening to what Morrin has to say. In addition to Morrin's input, I will also provide you with the necessary support.

What's special about horses is that they don't distinguish between a human and an animal. As soon as they're introduced to a person, they naturally react to the tension and aura this "new herd member" carries. If they notice that this person has "colic" (abdominal cramps or pain), they'll try to help. They do this from their perspective of being as safe as possible together and being able to flee from potential danger.

Horse coaching helps you release tension you (unconsciously and unintentionally) hold in your body. It also raises your awareness of what's going on in your body. This could be recent tension from recent experiences, but more often, this tension originated in childhood and has been stored in your body ever since. Later experiences that caused you tension add to this. When the burden eventually becomes too much, your body says "stop." This manifests as burnout or depression, for example.
